Groups A and B for pre quallification trials
Important notice to the handlers participating in the Continental 2022 qualification process.
The CSCC, which organises the Continental every year, insists on giving everyone a "fair" and equal opportunity to participate in the Continental's qualifiers.
Of course, the FSB is inclined to this principle as well.
In the past we have run into the dilemma of receiving more registrations for pre-qualification matches than there were places available. The increasing number of eligible players is the main cause for this problem. It is only made more apparent by the limited daylight hours in the period from October to March.
In October 2019 we had the first board meeting around this issue.
The following was decided.
To solve the mentioned problem we start from the principle to perform one race day pre qualification on two consecutive calendar days when the capacity of the organizer is exceeded. The conditions of the race on the two days should be as homogeneous as possible.
In order to execute this we will ask the entitled handlers (class 3 and living in Belgium) to join group A or group B.
Group A will run at the first competition on Day 1 (often Saturday), group B on Day 2 (often Sunday).
On the next qualifying race, which has to be split over two consecutive calendar days, the same group A will run on Day 2 and the same group B on Day 1. This principle shall then continue to be applied over the following competitions.
How to register for the competition and how to join a group?
Registrations for the trials will be done in the classical way for handler and dog.
Accessing a group is done at handler level. This can be done on the site where you register for one of the three following options
a. Preferably in group A
b. Preferably in group B
c. Group A or Group B is fine with me.
Success!
