Young-Handler (YH)

We received only 1 application after our appeal. The aim is to give opportunities to youth and gain experience.

We are giving the YH a special "status" . We let the YH start in KL2 to compete there, build level and also give a success experience. In addition, the YH will be guaranteed to participate in KL3 competitions so that BW will always be included in the starting lists. Likewise, the YH will get a starting place in the National Championships. Specifically, this means that the previous start in KL3 will lapse and the Class 3 results will be registered as "Outside Competition".

The YH is thus an exception to our regulations regarding the transition from class 1 to class 2 and to class 3.
This is to protect the YH from the inexperience of carelessly and sometimes under pressure from outsiders to change class too quickly and then not being able to go back. We would therefore like to grant young handlers this exception.

As we have only 1 candidate, he will represent us at EC and WC as YH.

Technical problem is solved and registration is possible. The registration will ask for your preferences. Please keep as much as possible the three days as preferred until you have really one unavailability for one of the days. That will enable us to make the groups more homogeneous.

Only class 3 handlers domiciled in Belgium for more than 12 months are admitted to the competition.

Due to the limitation in daylight, the competition will be played over 3 days instead of 2 so that 54 participants can complete 2 runs on 3 days and thus qualify results for 2 competition days.

For this purpose, 6 groups have been established numbered as A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2 of 9 handler dog combinations each, with 4 groups of the six participating each day. Thus, a maximum of 36 participating combinations will appear on the start list each day.

Entry roster:

Points gained are kept for the ranking over the World 2023 route for handlers who have pre-registered to go through the World 2023 selection route.

For handlers domiciled in Belgium for more than 12 months, the points earned are also kept as pre-qualification for the final Conti 2023.

Cost per run :

FSB members 20 € per run

Non FSB members 25 € per run.

Close of entries 28 october.

The schedule above shows the days for each group where the first and second runs will be run. Groups A1 and C1 will run their 2 runs each on the first and third day.

Groups A2 and B1 run their runs on day 1 and day 2.

Groups B2 and C2 run their runs on day 2 and day 3.

After your registration, you will be put on a waiting list until your assigned group is activated by the webmaster. Once activated, your competition days are indicated on the participation report and you may proceed with payment. You will also have the opportunity to indicate your preferences during registration so that we can optimise the group allocation system as much as possible.
