CCSC report
We received the report for CCSC 2018 on 20/10/2017 from Rikke Andersen
Report CCSC meeting<p>
This is a résumé of the report held in Norway:
- The Federatie schapendrijven België (FSB) is accepted by the full committee as a member of the CCSC.
- The EC 2018 wil take place in the Czech Republic from 23 until 26 August 2018.
The next Continental will cover 4 days due to the accrued number of handlers of still more European countries as before.
3 qualification days and 1 day for the final. 6 combinations handler/dog will be selected for the final during each qualification day. 18 handler/dog combination will be competing again each other during the last day
- Israël is also candidate to participate in the Continental. A decision about the participation of Israël will be taken later on.
- The costs for juries, course directors and the president will be covered by the CCSC committee.
- The combination handler/dog will still be used in 2018 but will change the following year. This means that each handler will be able to choose his dog he wants to compete with as from 2019 (comparable to the rules of the World Championship)
- Juries will be selected by the ISDS in the future. This was requested to avoid that each year the same jury will be selected, over and over (this was put on the agenda by Belgium)
- Complaints and remarks of individual handlers will be handled on country level instead of directly bij the CCSC. The countries have the democratic base to garantee a fair handling.
